Beginning September 16, Top Model's thirteenth season will serve as the lead-in for The Beautiful Life: TBL, a new Ashton Kutcher-produced drama that will follow the lives of a group of young models living in New York City and air Wednesdays at 9PM ET/PT.

As it did last year, The CW will also air an encore broadcast of each week's Top Model episode in the Fridays at 9PM ET/PT time period.

America's Next Top Model's thirteenth season will feature contestants who are all 5'7" or under -- a complete turnaround from the show's first 12 seasons, which required contestants be 5' 7" or taller.

"There have been top supermodels in the past that weren't as tall as the industry demands, like fashion icon Kate Moss," Top Model host Tyra Banks said when the show began casting earlier this year.  "So we are changing up Top Model for Cycle 13 and making it a year for the shorter model!"

The reason for the previous 5'7" minimum height requirement was to match "industry standards," according to The CW.
