Season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort stars Rob Warne and Sophie Sierra, Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, Josh Weinstein and Natalie Mordovtseva, Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda, Florian Sukaj and Stacey Silva, and Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina.

The six couples all reached a relationship breaking point and decided to spend three weeks at a desert resort in Arizona undergoing a rigorous relationship bootcamp designed to hopefully rebuild trust and connections.

At the resort, the couples work with therapists and counselors to navigate issues of jealousy, anger and intimacy through group therapy and untraditional approaches -- including hypnotherapy, pleasure mapping, sand tray therapy and off-grid excursions into the desert.

At the end of the retreat, each couple must decide if they want to stay together or call it quits on their relationship at the Final Recommitment Ceremony.

The 90 Day: The Last Resort episode began with Rob and Darcey Silva exercising next to each other and recapping the events from the previous night.

Rob said he thought the time Florian and Darcey spent together was a little strange and so he didn't blame Stacey for wondering if her twin sister wanted to have sex with her husband.

Darcey, however, made it clear that the thought of being intimate with her brother-in-law in any way was ridiculous and disgusting.

Ariela, meanwhile, told the cameras that it didn't seem like Biniyam had any interest in fixing their marriage and she didn't feel support from any of the other couples at the resort.

Biniyam -- whom Ariela said had done "worse" things than the other couples -- just laughed things off and claimed Ariela's allegations simply weren't true.

Ariela said she wanted Biniyam to hold himself accountable for the things he had done yet he was just floating around the resort having fun and partying. The past was apparently preventing Ariela and Biniyam from moving forward.

"At this point, it still feels pretty uncomfortable to be around Biniyam... I think it's maybe better for us to not be together," Ariela concluded. "Because I just don't believe any of the things that were promised to me are going to be carried out."

Biniyam admitted he was already done emotionally and that intimacy with Ariela had been missing for quite some time.

The couple therefore decided to break up and get a divorce, and so they were prepared to leave the resort as single individuals.

"I had tried so hard to make a broken marriage work, and it's not working," Ariela noted.

"I know it's painful for us, but we know we can't fully fix the situation," Biniyam added.

Ariela and Biniyam agreed that getting a divorce was going to be sad but probably the best move. The pair thought that if they fought less, they'd be able to give their son Avi more time, attention and affection.

Ariela and Biniyam believed that they'd probably be better parents to Avi living apart, and Biniyam said the new goal was to build a friendship with Ariela and hopefully be able to support each other in the long-term.

When asked if her relationship with Biniyam was worth all the pain, Ariela -- who was clearly thankful for her son -- replied, "Only time will tell."

Biniyam said it was going to be "very hard" to come to grips with the fact Ariela was no longer his wife.

Biniyam and Ariela proceeded to leave the resort. Ariela didn't say goodbye to anyone, but Biniyam informed the rest of the cast and they were taken aback by the news.

Jasmine confirmed that she liked Ariela and would like to be there for her going forward.

Ariela concluded that she deserved happiness but needed to find it on her own. She knew she needed to forgive herself for her mistakes and not view herself like a failure.

For Stacey's part, she didn't really remember what had happened with Darcey the night prior because she had a lot of drinks. Florian told Stacey that she needed to cool off and fix things with her sister.

Josh, meanwhile, was trying to give Natalie space because he said they weren't getting along. Josh said Natalie wanted to fight with him constantly and so they were sleeping in separate rooms.

Josh joined Rob and Darcey at the gym, and then Natalie showed up and announced how Josh had body shamed her and treated her poorly. Josh denied ever doing that, and then Natalie asked Josh to stop lying and cheating.

With that being said, Josh excused himself from the workout session. Josh said he had "no idea" why Natalie was so distraught and their relationship was worse than it had ever been before.

"I'm at the point now where I'm about ready to give up," Josh told the cameras.

Meanwhile, Jasmine spoke to a therapist about how she loved Gino and had fun with him but couldn't see herself staying in a sexless marriage, especially because Gino's lack of interest in having sex with her allegedly sparked most of their arguments.

Jasmine said she wanted to have an open marriage and discuss possible rules with Gino on how to be ethically non-monogamous, but Gino had been completely against the idea up to that point.

"The whole point of the open marriage is eventually my husband will be able to satisfy my sexual needs. I don't want to have a third person in a permanent way," Jasmine explained.

"I want this to be temporary, but I won't cross any sexual boundaries unless Gino and I come to that agreement."

But Jasmine acknowledged it was "now or never" because she needed something to change and she couldn't be patient for much longer.

Ariela and Biniyam's exit was an eye-opener for Jasmine because she didn't want to divorce Gino, even though their relationship was heading in that direction.

At a different place in the resort, Brandon and Julia revealed there was a big issue in their marriage and they really wanted to change that. Julia admitted it was "like nuclear war" with Brandon's mother Betty, whom she fought with frequently.

Julia said she and Betty had competitions for Brandon's attention, but Brandon felt like Julia started this and was, in part, making it all up.

Brandon insisted that Julia was the most important person in his life, but he apparently couldn't admit that to his mother. Brandon claimed he simply didn't want to hurt Betty's feelings, but Julia apparently needed that validation to feel prioritized.

During a Zoom chat with Brandon's parents, Julia expressed how she didn't feel like she had the support of Brandon's parents because Brandon was always going to be their No. 1, and then she broke down crying.

Betty said they always tried to make Julia feel accepted into their family and loved, but Julia explained how Brandon's parents always took his side in disputes and never acknowledged when Brandon was the one in the wrong.

Julia then revealed her parents had an interview scheduled for a visa to move to the United States. Julia hadn't shared this news with Brandon yet, and Brandon was shocked because he didn't think it was a good idea.

"I've told her, 'No,' and she still goes and does it," Brandon complained to the cameras.

Julia said she never told Brandon about her parents' interview because he wasn't supportive of the endeavor. Brandon couldn't believe that Julia was keeping yet another big secret from him.

"It's another lie!" Brandon yelled. "She cheated on me. Did you know that?! In Russia. She cheated on me. It's just one whole thing of lies!"

Julia then yelled at Brandon's parents how they blamed her for every single thing as Brandon walked away from the conversation.

Brandon broke down into tears and vented about how he was tired of being hurt and lied to.

When Brandon was off crying, his parents begged Julia not to give up on their son.
