TLC announced new 'Cake Boss College' reality series accidently

TLC apparently won't be airing a reality competition series in which aspiring cake-makers compete to win a job at the Hoboken, NJ bakery run by Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro after all. Or at least not yet.

The series -- which the network had dubbed Cake Boss College and included in a Thursday press release in which it announced plans to air 47 new and returning series as part of its 2010-2011 programming slate -- does not actually exist.
"It's not an actual series... [we'll let you know] when/if we do decide to move forward with that concept," a TLC spokesperson told Reality TV World on Friday.
"We drafted a possible show for development, and it was accidentally included [in the press release]."
Cake Boss premiered in 2009 and has since become one of TLC's biggest hits. The half-hour reality series follows the activities at Valastro's shop that specializes in novelty and special occasion cakes
In February, TLC renewedCake Boss for a 26-episode third season that will premiere in May.
