'The Sopranos' actress Denise Borino-Quinn dies from liver cancer

Denise Borino-Quinn, who played mob wife Ginny Sacrimoni on "The Sopranos," died at New Jersey's Morristown Memorial Hospital after a battle with liver cancer.

She was 46.
Her death Wednesday was confirmed to MyCentralJersey.com by the Farmer Funeral Home in Roseland.
Borino-Quinn, who had no previous acting experience, won her role on "The Sopranos" in an open casting call, the Web site said.
Her husband, Luke A. Quinn Jr., died in March. They had no children.
