In addition, the network announced it has renewed Ghost Hunters for a 25-episode seventh season, which is currently slated to premiere next year.

Ghost Hunters sixth season premiered in March and has averaged 2.6 million total viewers and 1.6 million viewers in both the Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 demographics during its initial broadcast run.

Ghost Hunters premiered in October 2004 and follows TAPS founders and real-life plumbers Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson as they investigate paranormal activity.

Ghost Hunters Academy, a spinoff that returned earlier this month and follows a group of students learning how to hunt for paranormal activity from Hawes and veteran ghost hunters Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango, currently airs in the Wednesdays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot on Syfy.

In addition, new Ghost Hunters International episodes will begin airing in the Wednesdays at 9PM ET/Pt timeslot beginning July 14.

Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International and Ghost Hunters Academy are all produced by Craig Piligian's Pilgrim Films and Television production company.
