ABC reports that the second episode of their The Bachelorette" series once again dominated its ratings hour, besting an original episode of NBC's "West Wing" by 21% in Total Viewers (17.4 million vs. 14.4 million) and by 73% among Adults 18-49 (8.5/20 vs. 4.9/12). "The Bachelorette" topped the combined deliveries of NBC, CBS and Fox in the hour by 10% among Adults 18-34 (9.5/25 vs. 8.6/24).

For the second week in a row, "The Bachelorette" ranked as the No. 1 television program on Wednesday night in Adults 18-49, outdelivering the No. 2 program, an original episode of NBC's "Law & Order" (7.1/18), by 20% in the key sales demo. Despite increased competition from Fox's "Man vs. Beast" this week in the hour, "The Bachelorette" was up over last week's strong premiere in Adults 18-49 (8.5/20 vs. 8.4/20), Adults 18-34 (9.5/25 vs. 9.2/24) and Teens 12-17 (6.5/20 vs. 6.2/19). In fact, "The Bachelorette" overshadowed the Fox reality special by more than 8 million viewers and by 113% in Adults 18-49 (9.2 million & 4.0/10).

From its first half-hour to its second half-hour, the show gained nearly 2 million viewers (16.4 million to 18.2 million) and by 15% among Adults 18-49 (7.9/19 to 9.1/21).
