Audrina Patridge's previous comments that she was leaving The Hills were apparently premature.

Patridge is currently negotiating to return to The Hills for its sixth season, her representative told Us Weekly in a Friday report.

"Audrina is still in discussions with MTV about Season 6 of The Hills," the representative told Us.

"There is not a firm deal in place. She is set to begin filming the pilot episode of her new show next week, in Los Angeles."

While Patridge has been a The Hills regular since it premiered in 2006, she will be starring is her own new reality series -- tentatively titled The Audrina Show.  The show, originally announced in March, is currently in development at MTV and is being produced by Mark Burnett.

In September, she stated that she was "almost done" filming The Hills' final fifth-season episodes -- which she intended to be her swan song on the show.

"We're in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I'll be leaving then," she said at the time.

The Hills fifth-season finale aired last week and MTV subsequently renewed it for a sixth season.

The Hills' sixth-season episodes and Patridge's new show could potentially air back-to-back on MTV if she decides to return, a source told Us.
