"Party of Five" creators Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman are working with Sony Pictures Television and Freeform on a reboot of their beloved 1990s drama.
The new version of the young-adult series "will follow the five Buendias children as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported back to Mexico," a news release said.
Keyser and Lippman are penning the pilot and will executive produce it alongside Rodrigo Garcia, who is set to direct.
