Warner Bros. will broadcast a show about a crusty, older lawyer and an 18-year-old prodigy just out of law school, in a series created by Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Shapiro. He based the concept on the experiences of his own brother, a hotshot lawyer who got a big break from an older lawyer.
WBTV and Jerry Bruckheimer are the executive producers of "E-Ring" for NBC, a defense-themed drama, from David McKenna and Ken Robinson.
NBC will produce "Loved Ones," a half-hour comedy about three siblings from a close-knit family.
Bob Greenstein ("Will & Grace" and "Friends") and Bob Kushell ("3rd Rock from the Sun" and "The Simpsons") are writing and producing the NBC U Television Studio-produced project.
