Keira Knightley and actor Rupert Friend have ended their 5-year courtship, a source told People.com.
Knightley, 25, is best known for her work in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise.
Friend, 29, played the male lead in "The Young Victoria."
A source told People.com distance and busy schedules prompted the split a few months ago.
"It was time for her to move on," the insider said of Knightley.
