"I've got the camera in her face at all times. She poses, she moves her eyes and looks at the camera. She's going to be awesome in five years."

Ice-T and Austin married in 2002 and welcomed Chanel in November.

The "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star is also dad to 40-year-old daughter Letesha and 23-year-old son Tracy Marrow, Jr., with previous partners.

"Muhammad Ali said when you have a baby in the second half of your life ... it's like you want to hit a restart button on your life," the actor said.

Austin often posts photos of Chanel on social media and shared a video from her daughter's first photoshoot in December.

The 37-year-old television personality defended herself the same month against fans concerned about Chanel's well-being.

"How is this exploiting her? I'm proud that I'm finally a mama ... does she not look happy?" she wrote.

Ice-T and Austin starred on three seasons of the "Ice Loves Coco" reality show on E! and have a new show, "Ice & Coco," in the works.

The actor plays Fin Tutuola on "Law & Order: SVU," which was renewed for an 18th season in February.
