'Happy Feet' tops weekend movie box office for third straight weekend

The animated "Happy Feet" danced its way to the No. 1 spot in U.S. box office receipts for the third straight weekend, raking in more than $17 million.

"Casino Royale" kept the No. 2 spot for the third weekend in a row, earning about $15.1 million.
All estimated figures are from Box Office Mojo.
"Deja vu" was third with more than $11 million; "The Nativity Story" fourth with more than $8 million; "Deck the Halls" fifth with $6.65 million.
"The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause" held sixth place with more than $5 million; "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" was finally beginning to fade, taking in more than $4.82 million but dropping more than 50 percent in receipts to come in seventh in its fifth weekend.
"Turistas" trotted into eighth place with $3.34 million; "Stranger Than Fiction" ninth with $3.4 million;
"National Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj" broke into the No. 10 spot in its first weekend of release with more than $2.29 million.
