Former U.S. child star Gary Coleman was in a coma and on life-support systems after he was injured in a fall at his Utah home, his publicist said.

Coleman representative John Alcantar said the "Diff'rent Strokes" star suffered an intracranial hemorrhage when he fell Wednesday, ABC News reported Friday.
After being hospitalized in Salt Lake City, Coleman regained consciousness and was lucid but by Thursday afternoon "was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened," Alcantar said.
Because Coleman, 42, has other health difficulties, he hasn't undergone any surgical procedures, the publicist said. Coleman suffered seizures earlier this year and has a congenital kidney disease that requires frequent dialysis.
