The Bachelor couple Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson have begun celebrating Joey's 29th birthday with a romantic getaway to Portugal.

Joey and Kelsey recently touched down in Porto, Portugal, and it appears they've been enjoying every minute together. Not only did they dine on the water, but they also had a wine tasting.

Kelsey took to Instagram with a video clip of the couple's trip as well as funny photos of Joey throughout the last six months.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the most spectacular human!!! I'm so thankful you were born 29 years ago. You bring so much love and happiness to the world and me," Kelsey captioned her sweet post.

"I hope all your birthday wishes come true (even though all your dreams and wishes already came true when you got engaged to me). I hope this will be the best year yet! You deserve it all and more."

The Bachelor's Season 28 winner added, "I love you so much. Cheers to my 29 & extra FINE man!"

Joey commented on Kelsey's post, "Love you so much. Thank you for being the absolute best gift anyone could ask for."

Kelsey also uploaded a photo of Joey via Instagram Stories and wrote, "We made it to Portugal! Happy birthday, love!"

Joey, for his part, posted on his own Instagram account on Wednesday, May 29 that he had "the best time celebrating" with his fiancee overseas. They apparently attended a friend's wedding together.

This past weekend, The Bachelor star had also thanked everyone for "the birthday love."

Joey wrote, "It's safe to say that this past year has been the craziest of my life. It was met with surprises, difficulties, but most importantly blessings. I now have a beautiful fiancee. I have seen different parts of the world. I have faced challenges that have let me grow."

Joey said as he goes into the next year of his life, he's looking towards "capturing more experiences" that he'll be "able to call blessings."

"So I decided to make a bucket list of 30 things that I'd like to do before I turn 30," Joey shared. "I'll look to complete a lot of these tasks with Kelsey, Family, and Friends. I hope you all will enjoy following along."

Kelsey and Joey got engaged on The Bachelor's Season 28 finale, which aired on March 25, and they're planning to move to New York City together this summer, in July or August, once Kelsey's apartment lease in New Orleans is up.

The lovebirds told Us Weekly earlier this year that they're really looking forward to taking their relationship to the next level.

"I think what I'm most excited about is the ability to be around each other so much," Joey shared with the magazine. "We finally will be able to just do small things together."

It was apparently Kelsey's idea to take their love to the Big Apple for a fresh start.

"I don't know if it's all the early 2000s rom-coms that I've watched, but something about [New York] is so intriguing to me," Kelsey explained.

"I don't care if I hate it or love it; I just need to go experience it, and Joey's fully supporting that."

Joey and Kelsey said they realize all of America is going to be watching them and keeping a close eye on their romance, but they're apparently not worried about that at all.

"I think that we know where we are at and we don't need reassurance from people that don't actually know us," Kelsey said.

And Joey added, "We'll figure out how to navigate that day by day. It's something that we're trying not to focus on too much because we got so many other things that we're excited about that we do want to focus on."

Joey and Kelsey have said in other post-show press that they want to have a long engagement, potentially three years, before tying the knot.

The pair is therefore in no rush to start a family, even though they "definitely want kids" down the road.

"I think it would be wrong to jump into a marriage too quickly because we are learning and dating again, and we have so much to look forward to," Joey said on a late March episode of "The Viall Files" podcast.

The Bachelor star acknowledged, "We definitely want to have the ability to enjoy our marriage."

In terms of having children, Joey shared, "I don't know if it ever made it on the show, but Kelsey always wanted to adopt. That was something that she was really big on."

"And she wants to probably have, like, 20 kids," he elaborated. "I would rather stay more in, like, the three range."

Joey went on to reveal how he and Kelsey "already have the name of our first kid picked out" for the future.

"It's easy because it would be taking [Kelsey's] last name. Anderson is her last name, and so it will obviously be her maiden name," Joey said.

"We kind of love it most for a girl, calling her Andi. So Anderson Graziadei is the idea of the first kid."

Joey concluded that he and Kelsey are certainly "talking about this stuff."

During The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special that aired in March, Kelsey and Joey were gifted a trip back to Jasper, Canada, and Joey gushed of his fiancee, "I now have my 'forever,' and I'm the luckiest guy there could be... I don't know how I'm going to have a boring day of life with her by my side."

Prior to Joey's The Bachelor stint, he had competed for Charity Lawson's heart on The Bachelorette's twentieth season.
