Dave Chappelle, who spoofed Oprah Winfrey in a sketch where he fathered her baby and became her "kept man," is sitting down with the talk show maven herself.

Chappelle is taping an interview for Friday's edition of 'Oprah,' during which he is expected to reveal why he walked away from a $50 million deal with Comedy Central, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

He walked off the set of "Chappelle's Show" last April and later turned up in South Africa, where he said he went to "purify" himself and soul search.

Chappelle gave an interview to Time after the magazine tracked him across continents, but the 'Oprah' appearance will mark his first TV interview since the incident, the Post noted.
