Brad Pitt is being just as tight-lipped in Japan as he has been in the United States about his breakup with Jennifer Aniston.

Promoting "Ocean's Twelve" in Tokyo with co-stars George Clooney and Matt Damon, Pitt said nothing about the end of his four-and-a-half year marriage to the "Friends" star.

Warner Bros. helped him out: It banned non-Japanese journalists from a news conference and only allowed such journalists to attend if they signed a pledge agreeing not to write for any other publication than the one they were explicitly representing.

Pitt's silence in Japan continued his no-comment approach to U.S. tabloids interested in his evolving love life.
