An Australian man caught a 4-foot long shark using nothing but his bare hands.

Philip Kerkhof was walking along a fishing jetty in Louth Bay, South Australia, when he saw the bronze whaler shark chasing squid lures.
He climbed down a ladder and began following the shark into shallow water.
Kerkhof told the Australian Broadcasting Corp: "I sneaked up behind him and eventually went for the big grab. Then he started thrashing about trying to bite me and I thought 'Well, it's amazing what vodka does' and threw him onto the jetty."
The only damage Kerkhof suffered was a bite mark to his jeans.
He admitted "it's not something I'd recommend doing. When I sobered up and thought about it, I felt a bit of an idiot."
