"Anything Goes" features music and lyrics by Cole Porter, and an original book by P.G. Wodehouse and Guy Bolton, and Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse.

The upcoming production, which is to begin previews in February, will feature a new book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman. It will be directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall.

Foster, who has starred in "Shrek the Musical,""Young Frankenstein,""Thoroughly Modern Millie" and "The Drowsy Chaperone," will play Reno Sweeney in "Anything Goes," which is to play at a Broadway theater to be announced, the producers said.

Additional design team and cast members will be announced later.

The musical "Anything Goes" premiered on Broadway Nov. 21, 1934, at the Alvin Theatre, starring Ethel Merman. Its first Broadway revival debuted on Broadway Oct. 19, 1987, at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre and received the Tony Award for best revival.
