Rock of Love will "reveal the private side" of Michaels -- who had a short relationship with Pamela Anderson that yielded a sex tape and has two daughters with another woman but has never been married.  Living with Michaels in his Los Angeles mansion, the women competing for his affection on Rock of Love will be tested on their "devotion" to him through numerous challenges, with the winners being rewarded with dates, ala Flavor of Love and I Love New York.

"We knew women vying to date a rock star would make great entertainment, but Bret brought outrageousness and excitement to the show that exceeded our wildest expectations," said Rock of Love executive producers Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego.

The show was also created by Cronin and Abrego for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures, The Surreal Life team who also produced VH1's Flavor of Love, I Love New York, The Surreal Life and My Fair Brady reality hits.
