The CW has announced it will air Plain Jane, a new reality makeover series for women, this summer.

Each Plain Jane episode will provide a different woman the chance to change her life via a head-to-toe style transformation that will include a new wardrobe and various confidence-building exercises. The women will be helped by British fashion expert Louise Roe.

Once the transformation is complete, each woman will be surprise an "unsuspecting crush" and reveal her new look and true feelings.

Plain Jane is being produced by Fly on the Wall Entertainment and executive produced by co-founders Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan, who also produce Big Brother for CBS.

In addition to Plain Jane, The CW also ordered Shedding for the Wedding -- a new reality competition series that the network began developing in March under the working title Shed to Wed.

"We're excited about two new reality series coming to The CW," network entertainment president Dawn Ostroff said.

Shedding for the Wedding will air as part of The CW's midseason schedule and feature ten overweight engaged couples competing for the wedding of their dreams.
