The City star will write an advice book titled "True Whit" that is currently due out next year, People reported Wednesday.

Described by publisher It Books as a "conversational, fun, and candid guide for girls looking to start out [in life] with style," it will include personal stories from Port and advice for young women on everything from getting rid of puffy eyes and dressing for a date to decorating a small apartment and hosting parties.

"Being a twenty-something can be a difficult phase. There are so many questions, and I wanted to write about my experiences for anyone who needs help navigating through life," Port told People.

"It's a really fun and fresh how-to-guide where I can share anecdotes that I've learned from both work and my personal life."

Conrad's second novel -- "Sweet Little Lies" -- topped The New York Times bestseller list in February after her first novel "L.A. Candy" did the same last July.

New The City episodes will premiere Thursday, April 27 at 10:30PM ET/PT on MTV.
