The 27-year-old songwriter and entertainer from Nashville, TN recently popped the question to longtime girlfriend Lori Diaz during a date at the Grand Ole Opry -- a proposal which will air during Tuesday night's The Biggest Loser penultimate episode of the reality weight-loss competition's twelfth season, People reported.

"I wanted to take her there because it's a place where so many dreams have come true, right there on that stage," Hickerson told People. "My biggest dream is to be a great husband and a great father, and fall in love."

"There was no one there but us and a camera crew," Diaz, 29, added. "We sat down in the front row and he gives me a spiel about how he loves me more than anything."

Hickerson, who is currently one of The Biggest Loser's Final Four contestants vying for the $250,000 grand prize, bought the engagement ring from Nashville's King Jewelers.

"I thought it looked like the Eiffel Tower, which makes people think of beauty and romance," Hickerson said. "Just like the first time I saw Lori, out dancing in a zebra dress, I had that same feeling like, 'Oh my gosh, this is the one.'"
