The Bachelorette will reportedly be skipping its summer season this year.

The last three The Bachelorette seasons have all premiered in July, but ABC will be airing Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise this summer instead.
ABC has not formally announced the scheduling change, but multiple media outlets have reported that The Bachelorette has been dropped for Summer 2025.
But The Bachelorette has not been canceled, according to Deadline, and there is still a small chance the show may return in late 2025.
Sources told Deadline, however, that it's very unlikely The Bachelorette will return this year at all.
Bachelor in Paradise's premiere date for Season 10 has yet to be officially announced, but ABC had renewed The Bachelor spinoff for a tenth season in July 2024.
Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season premiered in September 2023, and then Joan Vassos' season of The Golden Bachelorette debuted in that Fall 2024 timeslot.
ABC is currently juggling the scheduling of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette. (The franchise has also aired other spinoffs in the past such as The Bachelor Winter Games).
The first season of The Golden Bachelor starring Gerry Turner premiered in September 2023, and so ABC appears to be creating the pattern of alternating between a senior male and a senior female every other year in the fall.
It's possible ABC may now be looking to do the same with The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise airing every other year in the summer months.

The Bachelorette has aired every year on ABC with the exception of 2006 and 2007. At the time, ABC had paused production on the spinoff and later returned with the show's fourth season in 2008.

The ending of The Bachelorette's 21st season was explosive, as Jenn revealed her winner, Devin Strader, had allegedly ghosted her post-filming and dumped her over the phone during a brief conversation only weeks after they got engaged.
When The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose aired on ABC, Jenn and Devin were already broken up, and Jenn appeared absolutely devastated.
Jenn proceeded to appear on Dancing with the Stars, and she is now rumored to be dating DWTS pro Sasha Farber.
News of The Bachelorette's reported postponement comes only a couple of weeks after Grant Ellis' season of The Bachelor, the show's 29th edition, premiered on January 27, 2025 on ABC.
Grant had competed on Jenn's The Bachelorette season but got eliminated before her Final 4 suitors' hometown dates.
