The Bachelorette's Kaitlyn Bristowe had a very dramatic wardrobe malfunction during the 2018 Emmy Awards.

Kaitlyn gave fans a play-by-play of her somewhat traumatic experience at the Emmy Awards on social media.
"Sitting in the emmys and my zipper just busted and my butt is exposed and I can't get up and I dunno what to do," Kaitlyn explained on Twitter. "It all opens up when I stand up. Right down to mid crack."
Kaitlyn apparently wanted to give Betty White a standing ovation at one point during the night but felt she couldn't because of her open backside.
"I either stood for Betty White and showed my ass, or stayed seated and looked like an ass," tweeted Kaitlyn, who wore her hair gently pulled back in a low ponytail.
To make matters worse, Kaitlyn was sitting in the wrong seat for the awards.
"They came and got us and moved us closer to the front, so I had to get up and waddle down in front of everyone, towards the front with my hands clasping my dress," Kaitlyn revealed.

However, a man kept giving Kaitlyn his jacket so she could cover herself up -- a kind, chivalrous gesture she was extremely appreciative of and thankful for.
When a fan suggested Kaitlyn should find herself some safety pins and relax over a glass of wine, the quirky reality TV star responded with the following: "I've got tequila. And we have asked so many people. How does no one have like 5 pins!!!!??"
Kaitlyn, however, was ultimately able to change her dress, as she switched into a sparkly black dress with fringe prior to the Governors Ball.

Kaitlyn got engaged to Shawn Booth at the end of her The Bachelorette season in 2015. The couple appears to still be happy and together although they are in no rush to plan a wedding.
