"[I'm] definitely dating and happy," Kaitlyn told People in a recent interview.
Kaitlyn has since moved on, and she is rumored to be dating The Bachelorette alum Zac Clark, who was previously engaged to Tayshia Adams.
However, Kaitlyn has yet to confirm that Zac is the man she's seeing.
"Honestly, I've been protecting my peace the most that I ever have in my life," Kaitlyn shared.
"And that's opened up some really beautiful doors for beautiful humans to enter, and I'm really happy where I'm at."
Kaitlyn, although she's known for being open and vulnerable with her social media followers, apparently intends to remain tight-lipped about her dating life.
"I've always been a little too comfortable speaking out about my whole life, so I am trying to reel it in, but I'm also trying to re-approach how I speak about things because in the past, I've learned really tough lessons and I've been selfish," Kaitlyn explained.
"So now I try and speak my truth while also reflecting and holding myself accountable for things as well, because I do think that's also part of vulnerability."
Kaitlyn said her plans for the near future include doing what makes her feel "happy" and "peaceful."
"[I want to] surround myself with people that inspire me," Kaitlyn noted.

"I'm really putting myself in a place where I don't feel like I have to say yes to everything. I really want to feel aligned in 2025 with how I want to feel."

Kaitlyn recently slammed Jason during the April 3 episode of her "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.
Kaitlyn told her listeners that she "felt very used" by Jason and that he "didn't know who he was without" her.
Kaitlyn also alleged that Jason was "riding coattails" and, despite her attempts to "hold him back from podcasting" so they wouldn't work in the same space, he betrayed her by starting his own "Trading Secrets" podcast.
Kaitlyn claimed Jason made it "all about him" and "what would make him grow financially, professionally and personally."
The former The Bachelorette star continued, "I was made to feel crazy because I was stunting his growth. But really I knew exactly what was going to happen, which happened. He started taking email lists, and these clients, and building up his from what I already built, and then the resentment starts."
Kaitlyn also called Jason "mean and pathetic" on her podcast for allegedly naming his new adopted dog, a golden retriever, her longtime "dream baby name" of Teddy.

"Yes Teddy is a common dog name. Yes he can name his dog whatever he wants," Kaitlyn said in her Facebook post.
"AND it's f-cked up that he knew it was my dream baby name. We talked about it for years."

Kaitlyn also insisted that she was the one who dumped Jason. She said that what she wants out of life is not what Jason wants, and she also made it very "clear" that she is "over" Jason.
Kaitlyn acknowledged in an April 7 Facebook comment that she's glad she had stood up for herself.
She also pointed out how she made mistakes in her relationship with Jason and still has "major things to work on" when it comes to being a partner to someone.
"I want to make it clear I was not being my healthiest self in the last couple of years because I had lost respect and was nasty," Kaitlyn admitted. "That is on me."
After competing on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor, Kaitlyn starred on The Bachelorette's eleventh season. She got engaged to Shawn during the season finale in 2015, but they split three years later.
Jason, who competed on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette, asked Kaitlyn out on their first date in January 2019. He moved to Nashville to live with Kaitlyn in June 2019, and the couple got engaged in May 2021.
Kaitlyn, who won Dancing with the Stars' 29th season, was first photographed with Zac on New Year's Eve as the pair was ringing in 2024.
Jason, for his part, moved on with TikTok star Kat Stickler. The pair was spotted together in March 2024 and then they went Instagram official in June.
Jason and Kat announced their breakup in October 2024, and now he's rumored to be romantically interested in The Bachelor 24 alum Kelley Flanagan.
