Although Kaitlyn claims to have moved on -- and is rumored to be dating another The Bachelorette alum, Zac Clark -- she slammed Jason and recalled intimate details of the demise of their relationship during the April 3 episode of her "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.

Kaitlyn told her listeners that she "felt very used" by Jason and that he "didn't know who he was without" her.

Kaitlyn also alleged that Jason was "riding coattails" and, despite her attempts to "hold him back from podcasting" so they wouldn't work in the same space, he betrayed her by starting his own "Trading Secrets" podcast.

"Coming to my audience who means most to me," Bristowe wrote in a statement that she posted on her "Off the Vine" podcast Facebook group on Monday, April 7, according to Us Weekly.

"I take accountability for wanting to hold someone back from podcasting. I knew deep down this was a me problem, AND I also knew it would start a crossover that would be hard in a relationship."

She added, "What I thought would happen, did."

On her April 3 podcast episode, Kaitlyn recalled of Jason, "I was like, 'I know that you starting a podcast is going to cross wires. It's my favorite thing that I do. You knew moving into my house, that's the one thing I was like please don't do.' He did it anyways."

Kaitlyn claimed Jason made it "all about him" and "what would make him grow financially, professionally and personally."

The former The Bachelorette star continued, "I was made to feel crazy because I was stunting his growth. But really I knew exactly what was going to happen, which happened. He started taking email lists, and these clients, and building up his from what I already built, and then the resentment starts."

Kaitlyn, however, reminded fans in her April 7 statement that she "clearly didn't leave" Jason after he launched his "Trading Secrets" podcast in 2021.

"I did more therapy around [it]," Kaitlyn said.

"It was just a boundary I made clear that was crossed and I tried to work through it but there was so much more than that. Again. I see how it could seem unfair."

Kaitlyn also called Jason "mean and pathetic" on her podcast for allegedly naming his new adopted dog, a golden retriever, her longtime "dream baby name" of Teddy.

Kaitlyn insisted she had told Jason on the day they met that she wanted to name her future child Teddy. She also said she has text messages to prove that Jason was well aware of this little fact.

"Yes Teddy is a common dog name. Yes he can name his dog whatever he wants," Kaitlyn said in her Facebook post.

"AND it's f-cked up that he knew it was my dream baby name. We talked about it for years."

But Kaitlyn acknowledged that she's not perfect and she still has "major things to work on" in relationships.

"AND I've already done so much work, I have seen tremendous growth in myself. I'm so proud of who I am today. My timeline of processing and being who I am doesn't have to look like anyone else's standard for a timeline," Kaitlyn explained.

Kaitlyn went on to say that she wants to "give it back" to the people who love and support her while also offering love to her haters as well.

"[I'm] navigating a world where sharing your story is risky, freeing and extremely hard. But I encourage everyone to think about 'yes and.' I do not wish ill on anyone," Kaitlyn clarified.

"I'm choosing now to 'let them,' and I'm glad I gave some context. I don't like that I'm still talking about it but it felt good to stand up for myself."

Kaitlyn also insisted on her April 3 podcast episode that she was the one who dumped Jason. She said that what she wants out of life is not what Jason wants, and she also made it very "clear" that she is "over" Jason.

"I of course have moved on," The Bachelor alum reiterated in her Monday Facebook post. "AND, it doesn't mean I can't speak my truth."

She elaborated, "Do I have anxiety around my calculated response? Do I think he subtly shades me a lot? Yes. But I'm choosing light, and prayer. Moving forward. For everyone."

Kaitlyn also took accountability for her mistakes in the last couple of years.

"I want to make it clear I was not being my healthiest self in the last couple of years because I had lost respect and was nasty," she admitted in a comment. "That is on me."

After competing on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor, Kaitlyn starred on The Bachelorette's eleventh season. She got engaged to Shawn during the season finale in 2015, but they split three years later.

Jason, who competed on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette, asked Kaitlyn out on their first date in January 2019. He moved to Nashville to live with Kaitlyn in June 2019, and the couple got engaged in May 2021.

Kaitlyn, who won Dancing with the Stars' 29th season, was first photographed with Zac on New Year's Eve as the pair was ringing in 2024.

Jason, for his part, moved on with TikTok star Kat Stickler. The pair was spotted together in March 2024 and then they went Instagram official in June.

Jason and Kat announced their breakup in October 2024, and now he's rumored to be romantically interested in The Bachelor 24 alum Kelley Flanagan.
