The Bachelor star Nick Viall apparently fell deeply in love with both Raven Gates and Vanessa Grimaldi and therefore had to make an agonizing decision.

In an extended preview clip that aired following The Bachelor: The Women Tell All on Monday night, Nick appeared totally torn between his Final 2 bachelorettes. Host Chris Harrison also teased that Season 21's finale will be one of the "most dramatic and emotional ever."

"I came here to find a love that I've never felt before and a love that has the strength to last a lifetime," Nick says in the preview. "So now, I feel lucky because I'm in love with Raven and Vanessa."

Raven and Vanessa, in turn, are both smitten with The Bachelor star.

"I love Nick and I've never felt this way about a person," Raven admits before a scene shows her holding two husky puppies, "This is officially the best day of my life."

Vanessa and Nick are then shown going horseback riding up a snowy mountain.

"Wow, this is so fun!" Vanessa cheers, before revealing that Nick is the man she has been searching for. "I am so in love with Nick. He is what I've always dreamt of in a future husband."

But Nick is still reeling from back to back heartbreak on Seasons 10 and 11 of The Bachelorette starring Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe, respectively. Both women dumped him as the runner-up.

"I'm in love with these two women," Nick says of Raven and Vanessa, "but I've been incredibly terrified because I was very much in love with Andi and Kaitlyn, and I was really heartbroken both times. And I'm terrified that will happen again."

Vanessa then starts to doubt her relationship with Nick and whether it's as strong as she has believed the whole time.

"If I end up with you because my relationship with you is slightly greater than someone else's, like, I don't know if I'm comfortable with that," the special education teacher tells the Bachelor, before telling the cameras, "I'm not sure if I'm ready for that proposal, because things shifted for me. I just don't feel like I'm going to get my answers."

The video then skips to what appears to be Nick visiting his parents' home. Someone in the Bachelor's family reminds him that both women could reject him.

"There's no denying how confident I was with Andi and Kaitlyn in the moment," Nick tells his parents. "So I think I'd be lying if I were to make some grand answer how different this is. All I have to do is figure out which one I feel in my heart is the best for me, and I hope and pray that they will feel the same way once I make that decision."

Raven then sits down with Nick's father, who asks the bachelorette, "How do you think Nick feels?"

"When I told him that I loved him, he didn't say, 'I love you too,' or, 'I love you' back to me," Raven confesses.

While it isn't clear whether Nick's dad is talking about Vanessa or the Arkansas boutique owner, he warns his son, "She seems very much the type of woman that in the past you've been attracted to, but you haven't had a lot of success."

When Vanessa sits down with Nick's dad, she asks, "Do you think love is enough to make a relationship last?"

"You have to sacrifice," he replies, "If you can't do that, it won't work."

At that moment, Vanessa bursts into tears. As viewers have seen, she doesn't want to leave her family in Montreal, Canada, but Nick isn't exactly open to the idea of moving there.

"It's very hard to comprehend how strong I feel for each of these women, but I'm not sure what's going to happen and I'm running out of time," Nick says in a confessional.

When sitting down with Raven on their last one-on-one date of the season, Nick apologizes, "Sorry I've taken so long to figure my heart out." He later admits, "There are so many questions that I don't have answers to."

Days before Nick should be set to propose to the woman of his dreams, Vanessa asks, "Do you feel like you're ready to propose?"

"The week's not over," he confesses, to which Vanessa responds, "See, I don't like that answer."

Nick leads viewers to think he doesn't make his mind up until the last minute.

"I'm just afraid. If I leave here alone, I'll be devastated, I'll be heartbroken. It would have been a lot for nothing. Hopefully my heart will know what it needs to do," he explains.

The Bachelor's two-hour finale airs Monday, March 13 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC followed by the one-hour After the Final Rose special.
