The Bachelor star Nick Viall was reportedly far from confident and calm when making his final decision.

Nick, 36, couldn't make up his mind between the two women left in the running for his heart, so he allegedly wrote up a list of each bachelorette's pros and cons before proposing to the woman who received his final rose -- and a Neil Lane diamond engagement ring.
An indecisive Nick "told producers he felt like he was in hell," an insider revealed to Life & Style. "He was having a complete breakdown and needed reassurance on who he was picking."
According to the insider, Nick also consulted with The Bachelor host Chris Harrison and producers a whopping three times about his final choice. Nick allegedly asked for suggestions and opinions in order to come to a conclusion about which woman was best for him.
When it finally became time to pop the question to one woman in Finland, "Nick was having mixed emotions," the insider said. "He's in love with both [women]."
At this point in The Bachelor season, Nick must choose between Rachel Lindsay, Vanessa Grimaldi and Raven Gates. However, Rachel was already revealed as The Bachelorette's Season 13 star, so she clearly doesn't end up with Nick at the end of his journey.
Earlier this month, Nick revealed the next two weeks are going to be "packed with emotions and painful goodbyes."
"And as much as everyone has been speculating how I finally leave this Bachelor world, it might not be what you think," Nick teased, leaving Bachelor Nation to wonder whether he proposes at all or chooses a bachelorette viewers may not suspect or expect.
Nick's alleged winner has been widely reported for months, as well as whether he got engaged at the end of the show, so it will be interesting to see what happens!
The Bachelor airs a regular episode from 8-9PM ET/PT on Monday, March 6 in which Nick will enjoy a fantasy suite date with both Rachel and Vanessa. The broadcast will be followed by the two-hour The Women Tell All special on ABC.
