"I did really try. I'm somebody who shields myself when it comes to those types of connections, and he let me feel very comfortable being completely honest. I did have an open heart, and I took it as far as I possibly could," Dina said in her final words.
"But, like, I want to be absolutely one thousand percent sure that he's my person, and I want him to feel exactly the same way about me. And even tonight, that was my prayer: 'If he's not for me, I don't want that rose. If it's not me and him at the end, I don't want it' -- just to get further along in feelings and then be heartbroken."
Dina added, "He's going to make someone so happy, and I think they're going to make him so happy too. I think the fact I can get so close to someone like Grant in such a short period of time, it feels good, and I think it's really promising for the future."
Grant's Final 3 bachelorettes as a result are Juliana Pasquarosa, a 28-year-old client service associate from Newton, MA; Litia Garr, a 31-year-old venture capitalist from Salt Lake City, UT; and Zoe McGrady, a 27-year-old tech engineer and model from New York, NY.
The Bachelor broadcast began with Grant traveling to Newton, MA, to meet Juliana's big Italian family.
Grant said he and Juliana had a lot in common and they simply "got each other." Grant shared how they both had a "lone wolf mentality" and would make a good team in life.
Grant and Juliana put that teamwork into effect by making pizzas for Juliana's family at a local pizzeria. The pair also put a flower bouquet together and bought a big box of cannolis.
Juliana had brought only one man home to meet her family seven years ago, and so this was a big deal for the bachelorette. That man, however, had broken Juliana's heart, and she said she took time to recover from that pain.
Juliana explained to Grant that she didn't take their relationship -- or future engagement -- lightly, and so she warned him that her family was going to try to protect her heart this time and probably ask some tough questions.
"The pressure is on me. Because I like Juliana so much, I don't want to mess this up," Grant told The Bachelor cameras.

At one point during the family gathering, which included about 30 people, Juliana's protective dad Carl playfully snapped at Grant, "Did you just kiss my daughter in my house? Get a room."
Juliana told her sister Dominique that she knew deep down Grant was her guy. Juliana broke down into tears, sharing how she felt safe with Grant and he was a solid man that she could depend on.
Meanwhile, Carl spoke to Grant about how he had "a problem" on his hands because Grant was going to have some hard decisions to make in the next couple weeks and he didn't want to see Juliana become The Bachelor star's collateral damage.
Grant assured Carl that he was attracted to Juliana's character and loyalty as well as how real she is. Grant admitted he was "falling" for Juliana, who made him grow and want to be a better man, and he could truly see her being his partner in life.
Grant also told Carl that he respected him and was looking to learn from him as a stable provider for his family.

Carl subsequently told Juliana that he "loved" Grant and thought she would be just fine.
Juliana was so grateful that her dad had given his stamp of approval for her to continue on this journey, and Juliana concluded that Grant would fit into her family "without a doubt."

Juliana replied, "I am falling in love with you. You are just amazing."
Juliana cried in a confessional about how she had let her walls down for Grant and so the thought of him meeting three other women's families was going to eat at her.
"I feel like he is my person, and if he's not, I just don't want to go through that again," Juliana lamented to the cameras.
Grant then headed to New York to meet Zoe's family, although Zoe was not raised in the Big Apple.
For the day portion of their date, Grant got to see Zoe in her element by participating in a modeling photo shoot. Zoe and Grant posed for a pretend marriage proposal, engagement party, and wedding photos.
Modeling is a creative outlet and way for Zoe to express herself, and so she was excited to welcome Grant into that aspect of her life.
"She is beautiful. There are so many positives that have come out of today with Zoe. She's got it all," Grant gushed of the bachelorette. "I feel like we just fit."
Grant recognized that Zoe wanted to be loved and was ready to love, and he said she was the bachelorette with whom he could be the most vulnerable.
But Grant was not going to meet Zoe's adoptive parents because the bachelorette's relationship with them was apparently tense and strained.
"The door is open for them, but at this point in my life, they're not in it," Zoe told Grant of her adoptive parents.
Grant therefore met Zoe's aunt, uncle, sister and friends, and Zoe got emotional when reuniting with her loved ones who tended to build her up in life.
Grant shared with the group how Zoe was strong and unwavering, which he really valued in Zoe, and Zoe told her family how Grant was supportive of her rather than intimidated by her bold personality and accomplishments.

Grant explained to Faith how he didn't ask Zoe on a one-on-one date because one of them was holding back. He explained how a single heartfelt conversation changed everything for them.
"We are locked in, and our connection just started later. It wasn't too late; it was right on time, and now we're here," Grant told Faith, adding how the absence of Zoe's adoptive parents didn't scare him or make him feel hesitant at all.

Grant also pointed out how his feelings for Zoe continued to grow and he saw potential to fall in love with this "special" woman.
Grant therefore told Zoe before he left her family gathering that their connection was much stronger than before, and Zoe told The Bachelor star how she felt optimistic and positive about the future.
Zoe said she could see herself falling in love with Grant and she just hoped it wasn't too late for them to catch up to his relationships with the other women, who had received more time with him.
For Litia's hometown date, she had Grant meet her in Wyoming, where her grandmother lived. Although Litia wasn't raised in Wyoming, she said it was her favorite place in the world as a child.
Liita and Grant rode horses together, and Grant, a self-declared city guy, enjoyed being outdoors and embracing the country life with Litia.
Litia said in the past, when she had these romantic feelings for guys, it didn't work out. She wondered if this was "too good to be true" with Grant as a result.
Grant was going to be the first man outside of her Mormon faith whom she's ever brought home, and this made Grant a little nervous. Grant said he didn't know anything about the Mormon religion but he was willing to learn.
"Because my mother was really religious and really strict, it gave me such a narrow view... It caused arguments," Grant explained to Litia. "So there are pretenses there I have to see and get past... I'm a little anxious and a little scared, but what will help me get through all that is my connection to you."

"I know the base of their religion is what I believe, so I think we have some common ground there... [But] will they accept me? There are some nerves there for sure," Grant admitted in a confessional.
"I do have tattoos and I have earrings, and I drink sometimes and I do have fun. I don't want her family to end up resenting me or feel like she went rogue because of me."
But Litia's family was very warm, welcoming and accepting of Grant.
Litia's father Rob told Grant that he trusted Litia to make the right decisions for herself and he wouldn't reject Grant from his family just because he's not a member of their LDS church.
Rob shared that Litia really wanted to start a family and so she was on a bit of a tight timeline.
Grant then told Litia's mom that he was "falling in love" with Litia and he could see himself being with her. Litia's mother insisted that her Mormon family had no expectations of Grant and that they wanted him to feel comfortable around them.
"Litia's family, they support me, and that's big for me. That was a question for me, 'Do I have to become Mormon to be with this woman?' And the answer is, 'No, I don't,'" Grant told the cameras.
Litia, meanwhile, had a sweet conversation with her grandfather Jerry in which she said she thought Grant was The One and that she loved him. Litia said she had never felt this way about a man before, and Jerry told the bachelorette that she seemed to fit with Grant.
Litia then told her mother that she was afraid of Fantasy Suites.
"It would hurt my feelings if he sleeps with other girls, and I'm not going to sleep with him," Litia explained.
Litia was afraid to tell Grant how she felt about him because she didn't want to get hurt, but she decided that it was time to open up.

"Wow," Grant replied. "Well, I'm doing the same. I am falling in love with you too, and I am excited. In your words, I am cooked. I am. I think for the feelings to be this strong... it's definitely big for me."
Grant proceeded to travel to Chicago, IL, for Dina's hometown date.
Grant gushed about how Dina was amazing, smart and successful. He said it was important to meet Dina's family because he could see himself falling for Dina and so the "stakes were huge."
But much to Grant's dismay, Dina revealed that he would not be meeting her parents and family that day.
"My family is very traditional. My dad is a pastor; he is an ordained deacon. He is very into the church," Dina explained to Grant.
"Putting themselves out there is really difficult for them. So the idea of his daughter being with a man who's dating 25 women, doesn't sit well with him. I wanted you to meet them, but they will not be here... I don't want you to think that they have some issue with you, because they don't at all."
Grant found this news "disappointing," and he imagined Dina was upset not to have her family's support.
Dina told Grant that he'd get a sense of who she is through her friends, who would also ask him hard questions. Dina also said if they continued on with their relationship, he would eventually meet her family.
"The fact that her family isn't here today, it's concerning, because I don't know how this is going to affect Dina and I's relationship," Grant told the cameras.
But Grant put on a happy front and went to a pumpkin patch with Dina.
Dina worried her parents' absence would set her relationship back with Grant and potentially be a dealbreaker. But Dina insisted her friends knew more about her than her own family did, and Dina cried when she was reunited with her girlfriends.

"Dina's family not buying in could be a make or break in this journey," Grant told the cameras.
Grant learned, however, that if Dina chose him as her man, her family would wrap their arms around him and accept him wholeheartedly.
Dina ultimately shared with her friends how she was "falling" for Grant she was started to see the end of the road with him, which would be an engagement.
"But I would want [my family]'s blessing," Dina concluded.
After Grant met up with The Bachelor's Season 28 star Joey Graziadei and got some advice from him -- including to follow his gut feelings and staying out of his head -- Grant handed out roses at the Rose Ceremony.
Grant gave out roses to Litia, Juliana and Zoe.
When Grant walked Dina out, he said he hoped he was making the right decision because Dina is an amazing woman whom he could learn a lot from.
"You know what you want and you know what you're looking for. Obviously I think you're amazing and I will treasure the time we spent together and getting to know you," Dina told Grant.
"You've taught me a lot about myself in ways I honestly never thought that I could even learn in such a short amount of time. I am ready to be engaged and I am ready for marriage. I got really close with you... but if you're seeing that with the other women, you need to go with your heart."
Dina told Grant that she hoped he'd find exactly what he was looking for, but Grant acknowledged that sending Dina home was really "tough."
Grant admitted he was following his gut and what he was feeling, just like Joey had advised him to do.
