The Bachelor couple Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney Mesnick have announced they are having their first child.

"Our family is getting a little bit bigger!" Molly told People. "I'm into my second trimester and I feel really good."

Ty, Jason's 7-year-old son from his first marriage, is particularly excited about the baby, which is due in late March.

"He's been so excited to be a big brother," Jason told People, explaining that the thirteenth-season The Bachelor couple told Ty the news while they were playing a game of Hangman.  "The answer was 'Tyler is going to be a big brother.'"

"He's been asking me for years. He's always wanted to be a big brother. So we played the game and he looked at Molly and I and said 'Really?' Molly made him a t-shirt that says 'Big Brother' on it and he’s really proud. He wore it to school."

Jason and Molly -- who are the only couple in The Bachelor's sixteen-season history to wed -- got married in February 2010 and the ceremony aired as part of ABC's two-hour The Bachelor: Jason and Molly's Wedding special the following month.

Jason initially chose Melissa Rycroft at his final The Bachelor Rose Ceremony before dumping her on-air in favor of Molly during the subsequent After the Final Rose special.
