The Amazing Race: All-Stars eliminated Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran during Sunday night's eleventh episode of the CBS reality competition's 24th overall season and third all-stars edition.

"The Afghanimals" became the eighth team eliminated from the around-the-world competition after they arrived at the Race's eleventh Pit Stop at Peckforton Castle in London, England in last place.

"Deja vu all over again," said Jamal, who was referencing how his team had finished in fourth place on their previous race.

"It's been ironic how two seasons back to back, no one else took us out with a U-Turn, we took ourselves out. But 'The Afghanimals' are definitely a part of The Amazing Race history. No one's going to top our humor, our entertainment, our fun attitude," explained Leo.

"We're going to stay strong, stay positive. The experience is something that Leo and I will cherish forever," added Jamal.

The penultimate broadcast of The Amazing Race: All-Stars began with "Father and Son Cancer Survivors" David O'Leary and Connor O'Leary leaving the tenth Pit Stop at Seville's Plaza de Espana in Spain in first place at 10:39AM.

The departure times for the three other teams were as follows: "Newlyweds" Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly at 11:16AM, "The Afghanimals" Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran at 11:25AM, and "The Country Singers" Jennifer Wayne and Caroline Cutbirth at 11:36AM.

The teams' first set of clues instructed them to travel by train and plane to London, and once there, choose a car and drive themselves to Anfield Stadium in Liverpool.

Once at the stadium, the teams learned each Racer must lace up a pair of cleats and attempt to score two penalty picks against a professional goalkeeper. Once each Racer landed two shots in the net, a team would receive its next clue.

Brendon and Rachel got stuck in traffic on their way to the stadium, while Dave and Connor got lost because they had apparently missed a turn.

Therefore, Leo and Jamal jumped ahead of the pack and made it to Anfield Stadium before any of the other teams. They were then followed by Caroline and Jennifer, Brendon and Rachel, and Dave and Connor.

Caroline and Jennifer struggled with the task because they couldn't kick the soccer balls very hard. Connor also had a tough time, admitting his feet weren't coordinated.

Leo and Jamal finished the soccer challenge in first place. They were soon followed by Brendon and Rachel, Caroline and Jennifer, and Dave and Connor.

The teams' next set of clues instructed them to find the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, known as "the stream in the sky."

Leo and Jamal got lost on the way to the aqueduct and stopped at a gas station to ask someone for directions. It seemed like no one knew how to get there. They then caught sight of Brendon and Rachel and began following the newlyweds. Brendon picked up on it right away and managed to fake "The Afghanimals" out. Leo and Jamal therefore got thrown into the wrong direction.

Caroline and Jennifer got to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in first place, and they were then followed by Brendon and Rachel, Leo and Jamal, and Dave and Connor. Dave and Connor got to the clue right around the same time as Leo and Jamal.

It then became time for one member of each team to complete a Roadblock task.

For the Roadblock, the Racers had to learn and perform a verse of traditional Welch poetry. After choosing a canal boat, they had to work with an instructor during the 15-minute ride across the aqueduct, and once they got to the other side, they were required to recite the verse from memory.

Caroline opted to take on the Roadblock task on behalf of her team and she was later joined by Brendon, Jamal and Connor.

Jamal and Connor seemed to struggle the most with the task. Jamal had trouble with the pronunciation, while Connor didn't deliver the poem with much enthusiasm or feeling.

Brendon got it right on his second attempt. Therefore, Brendon and Rachel finished the task in first place. It also took Caroline two tries. Jamal finally got it right on his fifth attempt, and Connor finished the task shortly after him on his fourth try.

The teams then learned they must drive themselves to Bolesworth Estate and search for their next clue.

Leo and Jamal, once again, got lost. The guys told the cameras they usually have great navigating skills so it was unfortunate they were making mistakes at this point in the season.

Brendon and Rachel arrived at the estate in first place. They were then followed by Caroline and Jennifer, Dave and Connor, and Leo and Jamal.

The teams were then instructed to complete one of two possible Detour tasks: "Shoot it" or "Boot it."

"Shoot it" required the teams to shoot down 16 clay pigeons in total with a shotgun.

"Boot it" required the teams to choose a pair of boots -- either size 9 or 11 -- fill them up with water, step up to the starting line, and continuously throw the water-filled wellies along a marked course until they crossed the finish line.

Everyone chose to attempt the "Shoot it" task except for Brendon and Rachel.

When Brendon and Rachel finished their side of the Detour, they realized Rachel had selected a size 10 boot instead of the size 9 or 11 boots. Rachel freaked out and started to cry because the team had to go back to the start and do it all over again.

Caroline and Jennifer finished the Detour task before any of the other teams. They were soon followed by Dave and Connor, Brendon and Rachel, and Leo and Jamal.

The teams' next set of clues sent the Racers to Peckforton Castle, which served as the Race's eleventh Pit Stop.

Caroline and Jennifer left the Detour task at about the same time as Dave and Connor. Both teams drove themselves in opposite ways to the Pit Stop, so only one of them could be right.

Dave and Connor then met The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan on the mat in first place. They won a trip for two to Fiji.

Caroline and Jennifer got to the castle next and claimed second place. Third place went to Brendon and Rachel.

Leo and Jamal then arrived at the Pit Stop in fourth -- and last -- place, when Phil officially announced their elimination from the Race.
