Survivor winners Parvati Shallow and Sandra Diaz-Twine are sparring on social media after Sandra threw some shade at her former rival while answering a viewer question.

"Call me anything, but please don't call me nice," Parvati, 40, wrote to Sandra, 48, via Instagram Stories on Monday.

"Nice girls don't win Survivor or build lives they love. @sassysdt you can keep my name in your mouth to stay relevant. I ain't mad at ya & thanks for the compliment."

The drama began when Sandra slammed Parvati in a Survivor-fanpage comment on Facebook on Sunday.

When a fan asked why Sandra had defeated Parvati on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains in 2010, the self-declared "Queen" of Survivor -- given she's the only female to ever win Survivor twice -- responded, "It's simple. I was there! Because the jury hated both [Russell Hantz] and Parvati," according to Us Weekly.

Sandra and Parvati had made the Final 3 with Russell on Survivor's 20th season, and then Sandra ultimately won the game in a 6-3-0 jury vote, with Parvati finishing as the runner-up.

Sandra added crying-laughing emojis to her Facebook comment and continued, "And while Russell and Parvati on several occasions laughed at [James "JT" Thomas Jr.]'s letter, I ended up getting the last laugh and my [crown]. And had it been [Jerri Manthey,] Parvati and Russell in the [Final 3], yes Jerri would have won."

"So under no circumstance would Parvati have ever WON Heroes Vs. Villains. Goodnight. And Queen Stays Queen," she concluded.

Many Survivor fans weighed in on Sandra's response either agreeing or disagreeing with her point of view.

In light of some backlash, Sandra posted another reply, defending her original stance and taking another jab at Parvati.

"Good Morning! I see I'm still the topic of conversation on this beautiful Monday morning," Sandra began.

"I got this Queen sweater from my Pearl Islands bestie [Christa Hastie.] Anyways for those that constantly defend me and show love. I appreciate you️. And for those Parvati lovers out there, go spend 2 hours on survivor with her and see how much you like her then! She's not that nice. [Keeping it 100. Queen] stays [Queen]."

Parvati then took to her Instagram Stories on Monday and stood her ground with her "please don't call me nice" post.

Parvati went on to upload an old clip of the "Drop Your Buffs: A Survivor Podcast" in which Parvati had been asked about her relationship with Sandra on the show.

Parvati said she was "curious about it too," suggesting that she didn't even know where she stood with Sandra during the game.

Parvati went on to repost Instagram Stories from fans claiming to be "Team Parvati" or on Parvati's side in her feud with Sandra, including former Survivor winner Tyson Apostol.

Parvati then posted a throwback clip of a Survivor episode that showed her playing her hidden Immunity Idol FOR Sandra at a Tribal Council session. (She had also shocked her tribemates by playing a second idol for Jerri at the same Tribal).

"Let's remember, Nice girls don't give away immunity idols to save her allies, and definitely doesn't assemble one of the most notorious women alliance in Survivor history, like ever. Badass Girls does," Parvati wrote.

"Ok, Ok, I'm done now... Just kidding, still going!"

Sandra first played Survivor: Pearl Islands in 2003 and won the game in a 6-1 jury vote against Lillian Morris.

Parvati began her Survivor legacy on Survivor: Cook Islands in 2006.

Parvati finished in sixth place but returned two years later for Survivor: Micronesia, also known as Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites, which she won in a 5-3 vote against Amanda Kimmel.

Sandra and Parvati then both competed on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, which ended with Sandra becoming the game's first-ever, two-time champion. Parvati claimed second place.

In 2020, Parvati and Sandra tested their luck once more and competed on Survivor: Winners at War.

The women were the seventh and eighth castaways voted out of the game, respectively, and both served on the jury.
