Survivor has sparked another love match.

Survivor: Redemption Island castaway David Murphy proposed marriage to former Survivor: Tocantins contestant Carolina Eastwood during Sunday night's live CBS broadcast of the 22nd Survivor edition's reunion show.

According to Murphy, he and Eastwood began dating shortly after his return from Survivor: Redemption Island, which finished filming in Nicaragua last September.

However, while Eastwood accepted Murphy's offer, the proposal wasn't without its awkward moments.

"Carolina, you are the most amazing woman I've ever met. You challenge me..." Murphy said as he knelt down on one knee and initiated the proposal.

"Shut it down right now! Shut it down! Shut it..." Eastwood pleaded.

"You drive me nuts, but at the end of the day, you've made me happier than I could ever ask to be. So will you marry me, please?" the 31-year-old defense attorney from West Hollywood, CA, continued.

"Shut the flipping front door," Eastwood expressed in shock. "Survivor loves blindsiding me."

The live studio audience laughed and then Eastwood eventually acquiesced to Murphy's request for her hand in marriage.

"Yes, yes! Oh my God, yes," the 28-year-old bartender from Los Angeles answered.

Eastwood -- who was voted out of the franchise's eighteenth season on Day 3 due to her loud and boisterous personality -- reiterated how the game of Survivor has been known to throw her curve balls.

"You guys really like blindsiding me," the overwhelmed bride-to-be added after cursing.

Murphy and Eastwood are the fourth couple to result from Survivor, following in the footsteps of Survivor: Redemption Island winner "Boston" Rob Mariano and his wife and Survivor: All Stars champion Amber Mariano, whose 2005 wedding was broadcast on CBS; former Survivor: China castaways Erik Huffman and Jaime Dugan -- who were the eleventh and seventh contestants ousted from the competition respectively and got married in 2009; and Survivor: Africa winner Ethan Zohn and Survivor: Amazon champion Jenna Morasca, who have been dating since 2003.
