Bonnie struggled with a "long illness" and died October 28, Us Weekly reported.

The wake reportedly took place October 30, and Scott and longtime girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, 34, flew from Los Angeles to New York to attend.

Bonnie died at the age of 63 and, according to E! News, had appeared on a 2011 episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York when Kourtney took her son Mason on a trip to visit his paternal grandparents Bonnie and Jeff Disick in the Hamptons. Khloe Kardashian reportedly went along for the visit.

Scott, 30, is an only child and grew up in Eastport, Long Island in New York with his parents, Us reported.

Bonnie's death reportedly explains why Scott, a Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, has been absent from many recent Kardashian gatherings and events.

Scott reportedly did not attend Kanye West's marriage proposal to Kim Kardashian at AT&T Stadium on October 21 and also missed out on Kendall Jenner's eighteenth birthday party. For the party, the clan reportedly rented out Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA, for themselves to enjoy on October 29.

Scott was also not present at Kris Jenner's birthday celebration on Tuesday night, but neither was Kourtney, according to E! News.

Scott and Kourtney began dating in 2006. Their son Mason is three-years-old and was born in December 2009. The couple also has a one-year-old daughter together named Penelope, who was welcomed into the world in July 2012.
