Netflix announced the premiere date for Ricky Gervais' new stand-up comedy special on Wednesday. Ricky Gervais: Mortality starts streaming Dec. 30.

Mortality follows Gervais' previous three Netflix specials, Humanity, Supernature and Armageddon. The new show will see Gervais discuss his life, inevitable death, and the state of the world" in a special filmed this year at the London Palladium.

"I think Mortality is my most honest and confessional show so far," Gervais said in a statement. "I still can't believe what a privilege it is to fly around the world making people laugh."

Gervais has been performing Mortality on tour since 2024. The tour concludes in December with dates at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Radio City Music Hall in New York, three Wembley arena shows, a 14-night return to the London Palladium and more.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales goes to charity; details of the donation to be announced.
