Jennifer Lopez first caught America's attention as a "Fly Girl" on Fox' In Living Color in the early 1990s, and now it looks like she'll be returning to the network that helped launch her career.

Lopez has been scheduled to perform on the Wednesday, April 11 episode of American Idol's sixth season, "reliable sources" told Access Hollywood on Tuesday.

The 37-year-old singer, dancer and actress commonly known as "JLo" already entered the world of reality television earlier this year as the executive producer of Dancelife, an MTV reality series that follows the lives of six women trying to break into the world of professional dancing.

Access Hollywood also reported that it "has heard very strong rumors" that Gwen Stefani, the former lead singer of No Doubt and current solo artist, is scheduled to appear on American Idol's Wednesday, March 28 broadcast.
