Dancing with the Stars professional Julianne Hough is reportedly suffering from something more serious than just a "bad stomach."

Hough is expected to reveal tomorrow that the ailment that sent her to the emergency room following last Tuesday's Dancing with the Stars results show was an ovarian cyst, according to TMZ.com.

According to the report, Hough will be undergoing surgery to remove both the cyst, and -- in an procedure unrelated to the cyst -- her appendix as well, however it reportedly remains unclear when the procedures will take place or whether Hough will be able to remain in the competition.

Last Tuesday's hospital visit had come after Hough had revealed she had felt severe stomach pains during Dancing with the Stars' Tuesday night results show.

According to Hough, she had been feeling minor stomach pains all day on Tuesday, but they had intensified before she and celebrity partner Hannah Montana actor Cody Linley had performed an encore performance of their jitterbug performance.

However according to Hough, the hospital visit had ended with a determination that she was fine.

"Everybody, I'm ok. I'm fine," Hough had written in a Wednesday morning blog posting.  "With stomach problems, you never know what's going on. It could've been appendicitis. It turned out just to be a bad stomach.  As my mom said, better safe than sorry."
