Nikki Bella and her professional partner Artem Chigvintsev believe their Dancing with the Stars exit was definitely premature.

The Total Divas star and Artem were ousted from the Season 25 Dancing with the Stars competition during a double elimination that neither fans or contestants saw coming.

In addition to the pair, Vanessa Lachey and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy also got sent packing on Monday's Halloween-themed episode.

"I was shocked. I wasn't expecting that," Nikki, a WWE wrestler, told E! News. "I wasn't expecting a double elimination and I just wasn't expecting to hear our names. So, still I'm in shock, for sure, [and] sad."

Likewise, Artem was so caught off-guard by the couple's departure that he admitted he was "at a loss for words."

"I don't know how I'm feeling. I was taken by surprise. That's my honest answer. I didn't think we were going home," Artem told E! News. "I'll be honest with you. I don't know what happened."

On Monday's show, Nikki and Artem performed a jive to "I Put a Spell on You" from Hocus Pocus, and they received 24 out of 30 points from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. The pair also earned 24 points for their Monster Mash "Team Dance."

"I have no regrets," Nikki said when reflecting on her Dancing with the Stars experience as a whole, adding that she wouldn't have changed a thing or done anything differently in anticipation of a different outcome.

"I have to say that every performance we did was so different. I knew that just by my hair, makeup and wardrobe alone. I got to be a different character every week, and Artem's choreography challenged me in such amazing ways."

Nikki, who is engaged to American Grit host John Cena, couldn't help but gush about her "amazing" and "incredible" journey on the ABC reality dancing competition.

"[I learned about] coming out of your comfort zone and being uncomfortable and knowing that it's okay, and having fun even though it's really hard work," explained the brunette beauty.

"I definitely have no regrets. If anything, I'm just so beyond grateful that I got to be on the Season 25 cast and I got to experience this, and that I got Artem as a pro, because in the end, Artem became more than a pro to me, he's become a good friend."

As for what Artem will take away from this Dancing with the Stars season, he told E! News "a new friendship," which is something he said you "cannot change or trade."
