However, according to Us, the 23-year-old reality TV star may still end up in court, as under Italian law, the officers -- one male and one female -- have up to 90 days to decide whether to file civil action lawsuit over the accident, which left them with whiplash, cuts and bruises.
Polizzi's license was revoked since she injured other drivers on the road, but the chances of her facing a criminal prosecution are reportedly slim.
"It was nothing serious and they have been released, but they will not be back at work for a week," a Florence official told Us.
