Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi says getting eliminated from Dancing with the Stars completely caught her off-guard because she definitely didn't feel like her time was up in the competition.

"It was sad, I don't think we were expecting it, so it was definitely a shock... I definitely didn't feel ready to go. It [was] physically exhausting, but I didn't want to leave," Polizzi said during a Tuesday appearance on Good Morning America alongside dancing pro partner Sasha Farber.

"The competition is about pushing yourself, and I felt like I was pushing myself every single week to learn new things and I was conquering it, so I wanted to do more... I was [mostly] crying [because] obviously I didn't want to leave the competition, and I'm sad to leave everybody. If I knew I was going home, I probably would have prepared myself better."

The Jersey Shore and Snooki & Jwoww star elaborated that her ouster was very emotional because the Dancing with the Stars cast kept hugging her goodbye, and she thought they were all "amazing" and "so sweet."

"[I was like,] 'Ughh, I don't want to go!'" said Polizzi, who insisted the show was a "fun experience" and she "loved" it.

Polizzi and Farber, who participated in a "team dance" in addition to performing a highly-scored individual samba routine, apparently struggled to deliver during last night's show.

"It's definitely very, very hard practicing every single day for like five hours, and your body just gets exhausted," Polizzi explained. "I think this week, my body was just like shot, [but] we pulled off our dance."

Polizzi attributed her show departure to forgetful fans.

"I guess it's all about the votes, and I think people forget to vote. I think that's what it is," Polizzi told GMA. "They forget to vote for their favorite team and then when their favorite team leaves, they're like, 'What was that?!' You gotta vote for your team or they're going to go."

Farber also weighed-in on his own Dancing with the Stars experience, as the currently-airing seventeenth season marks his first time as one of the celebrity-professional pairings. He was previously a member of the show's Dance Troupe.

"It's been a dream come true. I couldn't imagine for a better partner to have my first season. Having Nicole as a partner, it's been awesome, and I feel like we're going to be best friends forever," Farber explained.

"Best friends?" Polizzi said sarcastically with a laugh and a high-five. "Yeah! I think we're going to be friends."

And the pair apparently have no intention to stop moving their feet any time soon.

"I'm going to keep teaching," Farber noted.

"I'm definitely going to keep learning how to dance," Polizzi added.
