Martha Stewart finally shed her electronic monitoring device Thursday morning, ending more than five months of home confinement in Katonah, N.Y.

Stewart remains on probation for another year and a half for lying to a grand jury about a stock sale, E! Online reported.

The domestic diva spent five months in federal prison and was supposed to have the tether removed Aug. 10, but a judge extended her house arrest after reports surfaced she had been attending yoga classes and society events.

The exact nature of Stewart's violations were not publicly disclosed.

Stewart's probation is due to end in March 2007.
