Paramount+ announced its streaming date for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning on Tuesday. The film comes to Paramount+ Dec. 4.
The Entity, an artificial intelligence, has taken over government systems around the world. Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team are trying to stop The Entity before it starts a new world war.
The mission takes Ethan to the depth of the ocean in a submarine rolling on the ocean floor, and the heights of the sky in a propeller plane chase finale. Esai Morales returns as the villain Gabriel.
Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames and Pom Klementieff play Ethan's team members. Henry Czerny and Rolf Saxon reprise their roles from the 1996 Mission: Impossible movie.
Angela Bassett plays the President weighing decisions as she awaits Ethan's mission success. Hannah Waddingham and Katy O'Brian also join this episode.Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Tramell Tillman, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Charles Parnell, Mark Gatiss and Lucy Tulugarjuk also star. It is the fourth in the series directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who also co-wrote. with Erik Jendresen.
Come Dec. 4, all eight Mission: Impossible films will be streaming on Paramount+.
