The third Tron film opened in theaters in October. It takes place many years after 2010's Tron: Legacy.

Julian Dillinger (Evan Peters), the son of Tron villain Ed Dillinger (David Warner in the 1982 movie) has developed a way to 3D print live-action programs and vehicles in the real world, but they only last 29 minutes.

Ares (Jared Leto) is one of Dillinger's programs who wants to become permanent. He teams up with Eve Kim (Greta Lee), the current CEO of Encom who has discovered a permanency code.

Jeff Bridges reprises his role of Kevin Flynn. Ares meets Flynn in an old computer program. Gillian Anderson also played Julian's mother, Elisabeth Dillinger, and Jodie Turner-Smith played another program, Athena. Nine Inch Nails performed the music.

Physical editions are available in a steelbook. Bonus features include deleted scenes and five behind-the-scenes featurettes.
