"I just can't believe that I'm the MasterChef. I can't believe it. This has been the most amazing experience, seriously. After all the obstacles I've been through, going up against such awesome, amazing cooks. I'm living proof that dreams do come true against all odds. I'm the MasterChef!" Christine, a 32-year-old graduate student from Houston, TX, said in tears after her victory was announced.

As MasterChef's third-season winner, Christine will receive $250,000, her own published cookbook and the title of America's Next MasterChef.

Christine defeated Josh Marks, a 24-year-old U.S. Army Contract Specialist who currently resides in Jackson, MS, to win the show's third-season title.

"Christine is a tough competitor. I love her, I respect her. I'm just proud to compete against her. I will never give up on my dream. It will come true whether I'm a MasterChef or not. It's definitely coming true," an emotional Josh said.

Christine was crowned champion after both finalists had to prepare and execute a three-course meal in two hours -- complete with a "stunning" appetizer, an "amazing" entree and a "delicious" dessert, according to MasterChef judge Gordon Ramsay
