Married at First Sight star Ryan Oubre says Clara Berghaus' desire to have sex was a constant conversation between them and he was well aware of her frustrations that she had vented to the other women in the cast.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Ryan, MAFS star Briana Myles and MAFS expert Dr. Viviana Coles watched back a Season 12 clip of Clara pretending to be patient and fine with waiting to have sex around Ryan but then airing out her frustrations to the other female cast members later on.
"I don't get it!" Clara laments in the clip. "Dude, we're committed to the fact that we're not having sex with other people for the rest of our lives, so why the f-ck are we not having sex now?"
Clara complains, "What are you waiting for? And he's like, 'I don't know, but I want there to be more of, like, an emotional connection.' We're doing sex things. I'm getting you off every f-cking night."
"And you're getting nothing?" MAFS star Haley Harris asks.
"Right!" Clara replies. "I mean, he's built it up in his head to be this fairy-tale, rose petals [experience], when to me, it's still just sex!"
Unfiltered host Jamie Otis -- who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight -- asked Ryan what it was like watching that footage back.
"Clara has the right to express how she feels, and how she felt in that clip is how she feels. I'm never going to tell her, 'Don't feel how you feel,'" Ryan explained.
When asked if he had any idea Clara was feeling that frustrated about their sex life, Ryan said, "No, it wasn't surprising to see."

"It was a constant conversation that we were having between each other," Ryan confirmed. "So, no, it wasn't a surprise. No."

Viviana them chimed in and revealed Clara had shared "all that frustration with" Ryan.
"Without a doubt," Ryan clarified.
"And y'all talked about it?" Viviana asked Ryan.
"Without a doubt," Ryan insisted.
Viviana shared, "Women amongst women will talk about their frustrations and vent -- it's very natural for Clara to want to do that."
"But she seems like she's really frustrated, so I don't know maybe if it was just a bad day, I don't know," Viviana reasoned.
Ryan went on to explain, "I think [Clara] has done a great job of expressing how she feels. If there's one thing that Clara doesn't do, she doesn't hide how she feels and she lets me know how she feels all the time."
"I feel like for me, personally," Ryan continued, "I had a good level or sense of her frustration, for sure."

On Wednesday night's Married at First Sight Season 12 episode, Clara told MAFS expert Pastor Calvin Roberson that she couldn't have imagined a better match for her than Ryan and the big surprise of her relationship was how well they were getting along.
"This is the best relationship I've ever had, for sure!" Clara gushed, adding that she was in love with Ryan.
Clara, however, expressed concern over how Ryan had never said "I love you" to a woman before and admitted she wanted to have sex with her husband, who had been very reserved in past relationships.
"Will you be okay if what you're doing now is all you will ever do?" Pastor Cal asked Clara.
"No," Clara replied.
When Clara and Ryan reunited after their individual meetings with the experts, Clara said she didn't want to push Ryan to be intimate if he didn't feel ready.
"I am a little sexually frustrated, but I also have a lot of respect for you," Clara shared.
Ryan reiterated how he wanted their first sexual encounter to be "meaningful and special," and he unfortunately couldn't give Clara a timeline on when it might happen.
