Married at First Sight star Paige Banks admits Chris Williams' comments about his ex-fiancee on their wedding day left her wondering if Chris had really closed the book on the relationship.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Paige watched back a Season 12 clip in which Chris explained on their wedding day how he had just covered up an arm tattoo of his ex-fiancee's name a couple of days prior.

"Paige, why do you think Chris is bringing up his ex in your very first conversation together? Is this concerning to you?" asked Unfiltered host Jamie Otis, who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight.

"Yeah," Paige replied.

"I think anyone [would be], especially on your wedding day, right?! And for whatever reason you think it's necessary to bring up all these moments, they are leading me to believe, like, 'Is this chapter actually closed?'"

Since Chris was engaged only three months before signing up for the extreme experiment, Jamie asked Paige if she thought Chris was rushing into a new relationship too fast.

"Yeah," Paige responded. "I mean, you were recently engaged, like, that is another level of commitment. You know, that in itself needs time to fully process and heal and become whole for the next person."

Paige was joined by her Married at First Sight co-star Jacob on Unfiltered, and Jacob admitted he wouldn't be pleased if his bride had been engaged to someone else several months before their wedding.

"I would not be happy about it probably," Jacob confessed.

"You go through this process of weeks and weeks of doing things, and you want this to be a great and special moment. And that's your first real conversation together, so that's definitely unfortunate."

Not only did Chris bring up his ex several times on his wedding day, but he also admitted that he was not physically attracted to Paige and her look is "opposite" of the trophy-woman type he was "used to" dating.

In addition, Chris asked Paige shocking questions about sex during their wedding dinner, including whether she has "a high sex drive" and uses contraception.

Paige, however, apparently didn't feel like her marriage was doomed after the series of unfortunate events occurred on her wedding day.

"I don't want anything left unturned in our marriage, but it is starting to make me think and second guess a little bit, like, 'Really, what am I getting myself into?'" Paige admitted.

Jamie pointed out how Paige and Chris still had plenty of time to turn things around and get on the right track.

But "the right track" definitely didn't include "a honeymoon baby" for Paige.

As Married at First Sight viewers can recall, Paige learned before exchanging vows with Chris that he was open to the idea of having a baby right away.

"Wow, yes, I desire kids and I want a family, but honeymoon baby?! I don't even know your last name!" Paige said with a laugh. "That's a little too soon for me."

Jamie asked Paige if she thought Chris was joking or serious about the honeymoon baby, and Paige replied, "Looking at his face, he seemed pretty confident! Who knows! I'm still trying to figure him out myself."

Jacob admitted the idea of a "spinoff series" entered his mind when he watched the honeymoon-baby scene.

"Pregnant at Second Sight," Jacob joked of the spinoff's potential title, adding that the idea of a honeymoon baby is "aggressive" for a pair of stranger spouses.

When asked if Paige's wedding ceremony was everything she had hoped or she wishes something could have gone differently, Paige replied, "I think just more time with Chris would've been better, just to get that intimacy."

Paige said she would've liked more alone time with her groom to see how their connection could grow.

"Most of the time we were with our family or our loved ones and not really with each other, so it [caused] a little disconnect there," Paige explained.

"But I think overall I am encouraged that his family was super-supportive and vice versa. I was really well-received from that end, and so I'm very hopeful."

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight's twelfth season, Chris said he had "a panic attack" after sleeping with Paige twice after their wedding because he still didn't feel attracted to her.

"I am so confused. I have never been with a man who wants to have sex multiple times that didn't desire me or didn't find me attractive," Paige lamented in a confessional.

Chris told his parents that he had sex with Paige -- once at night and again in the morning -- in attempt to achieve a "closeness" with his new wife as well as some type of attraction or connection.

"But I was wrong. There was nothing there," Chris complained.

Chris later apologized to his wife for how he had made her feel, and so Paige decided not to check out of her marriage, although she had admittedly been tempted to end it.

The pair agreed to start fresh on their Las Vegas honeymoon and try to build a solid foundation.
