Married at First Sight's eighth season will premiere Tuesday, January 1 at 9PM ET/PT on Lifetime with a special two-hour premiere and be proceeded by "Matchmaking Special" at 8PM ET/PT.

Season 8 of Married at First Sight was filmed in Philadelphia this past fall and, like prior seasons, will feature strangers meeting at the wedding altar and then spending the next eight weeks embarking on a honeymoon, moving in together, and then navigating the joys and struggles of daily life together.

End the end of the eight-week experiment, the couples will reach "Decision Day" and have to decide whether to remain married or decide to end their marriages and divorce.

Similar to the reality show's last several seasons, the couples were matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Jessica Griffin, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Pastor Calvin Roberson -- who also mentored and counseled the couples as they adjusted to married life.

Married at First Sight's four new Season 8 couples are AJ Vollmoeller, 37, and Stephanie Sersen, 35; Will Guess, 37, and Jasmine McGriff, 29; Luke Cuccurullo, 30, and Kate Sisk, 27; and Keith Dewar, 29, and Kristine Killingsworth, 28.
