At the time filming commenced for Happily Ever After, all three couples were expecting their first child together.

The Married at First Sight episode began with Jephte saying Shawniece was 36 weeks pregnant and the baby was coming, which was a huge surprise to them both.

Footage then flashed to doctors asking Shawniece to push, and she was moaning in pain.

"There she is!" Jephte said in the hospital room.

"Is she coming out?!" Shawniece asked from her hospital bed.

"Push!" Jephte said.

With another big push, Jephte and Shawniece's daughter arrived, and Jephte started to cry immediately. Jephte joked the baby had his head.

"The love that I have for her, it's, like, infinity," Shawniece told the cameras.

"Baby Laura is the biggest blessing in my life. I get to just hold her and fall in love with her. Right now, I have my very own family, and to be honest, this is what I want," Jephte gushed in a confessional.

A woman could be heard in the background saying Shawniece had "a beautiful delivery."

Meanwhile, the other couples were also four weeks into the Happily Ever After process.

Ashley received a text message from Shawniece about her baby's arrival.

"Guess who showed up a little early... 3 1/2 weeks to be exact! Laura Denise Pierre made her debut on 8/20 at 7:47AM. She is 5lbs 15oz of pure love!" Shawniece wrote to Ashley.

Anthony anticipated he would feel an "overwhelming joy" once his own daughter is born.

Danielle then got the same text, and Bobby was looking forward to being a good father. Danielle had a million questions for Shawniece, and Bobby expected eventually get to ask them.

On Day 2 in the hospital for Shawniece and Jephte after Laura's welcoming, the couple said it didn't feel real that they were parents.

"I have everything that I've dreamed of," Shawniece said.

The pair joked about how Laura has Jephte's "big forehead," Shawniece's lips and a combination of their two noses. The couple later changed Laura's first diaper together.

Danielle and Bobby were then shown talking out a point of contention between them -- money spent or not spent on a teeth cleaning for Henry, which Danielle estimated to be $500.

Since Henry was like Danielle's "first born," she was ready to spend as much money as needed to keep him healthy and happy.

Danielle was prepared to spend up to $1,000 to have teeth pulled if necessary, but Bobby wasn't okay with this.

"Danielle and I see eye to eye on pretty much everything except for one, and that's spending," Bobby told the cameras, adding that starting a family and buying a new home were his priorities.

Danielle acknowledged she and Bobby had to make decisions as a family and so she would probably just have to deal with Henry's "stinky breath."

Meanwhile, Anthony and Ashley had her friend Erica over for lunch, and Erica brought her husband and young daughter along for the social gathering.

Erica advised the couple to ask for help when necessary, and Ashley acknowledged she and Anthony might need more space at home for their little one.

Afterward, Pastor Cal paid Danielle and Bobby a visit. Pastor Cal learned the couple had several disagreements, including Henry's teeth cleaning, but he seemed glad to learn Bobby had put his foot down and said, "No."

Danielle was also still very focused on moving to a new house with more space, but Bobby appeared content with just staying put, calling himself "a frugal money freak."

Bobby didn't like the idea of spending their nest egg on a new house and new furniture when they could have medical bills to worry about in the future or maybe even a car break down.

Pastor Cal asked the couple to focus on their family and hold onto their savings. Danielle said if she decided to stay home when the baby comes, she didn't want to sit in a "chaotic" house that left her feeling frustrated.

Jephte and Shawniece were then shown taking their baby home at five days old and introducing Laura to their dog Kiki. Shawniece knew Laura was going to have Jephte wrapped around her finger.

"Our relationship has been a roller coaster since the day we first met, but now, my daughter is the driving force behind pushing me to make sure that my marriage works," Jephte said in a confessional.

"I want to be around for my daughter and be a good dad -- but an even better husband."

While looking at little Laura in his home, Jephte admitted to Shawniece he wanted to have more kids as soon as possible. Shawniece said Jephte had no idea what it's like to be pregnant.

Jephte felt he was in a much better place with Shawniece at this point in their marriage.

Meanwhile, Ashley and Anthony went shopping for baby items before setting up their registry online. Ashley admitted it was "overwhelming" and Anthony was surprised to see how much they were going to need and how much everything was going to cost.

Shawniece and Jephte then celebrated their anniversary with a quiet dinner at home -- except Laura wasn't quiet. Shawniece got all dressed up in sexy lingerie, but she had to breast feed instead of eat her own meal.

But Jephte was very impressed with his wife and appreciated how much effort she was putting into late-night feedings so he could get enough sleep for work.

Shawniece gave Jephte a personalized cigar box, and then he asked for a kiss.

"I'm surprised he asked me for a kiss because I haven't kissed him in five months. Once we got back together, the physical -- touching and the sexual contact -- it's nonexistent because I don't feel confident in myself right now, but hey, I'm trying my best to work on intimacy and romance," Shawniece explained.

Jephte, however, wasn't upset Shawniece pushed him away.

"I know she's scared I might hurt her again. I don't want her to be hurt, but this is the risk we take trying to learn to love each other again," Jephte said.

Jephte told Shawniece he ordered her anniversary gift late but it was on its way.

Dr. Jessica revealed Jephte had matured drastically in recent months and the experts were very pleased with and impressed by his attitude and persistence.

Jephte and Shawniece weren't ready to wear their wedding rings again, but Jephte was hoping they were headed in that direction, and he was very optimistic about their relationship because he cared for her immensely and they wanted the same things.

Afterward, Ashley revealed the lease on their apartment was up and she wanted to move into a home as soon as possible. Ashley waned to move before the baby arrives, and Anthony wasn't against the idea.

Anthony was worried about the stress level, but he wanted what was best for their family.

The couple therefore weighed the pros and cons of moving and seemed to agree on at least beginning the search for a house and discovering how much a small one might cost.

The episode concluded with Bobby creating a fine-dining experience for Danielle in their own living room for their six-month anniversary.

Bobby encouraged intimacy by requesting a kiss, for example, in exchange for an appetizer. Danielle, however, wanted to skip right to the entree -- a frozen pizza in exchange for her favorite memory.

Danielle expressed her feelings in a card for Bobby, which meant a lot to him given he's so sentimental. Bobby called his wife "the sweetest thing" and he wouldn't trade her written words for anything.

Bobby decided to give Danielle his pregnancy journal so she could look back on his memories of their life together so far. Danielle said she "lucked out" when she got matched with Bobby "for sure."
