Married at First Sight's Nick Pendergrast has announced he's expecting twins with his new girlfriend, Heather Yerrid, three months after finalizing his divorce from his ex-wife from the show, Sonia Granados.

Nick didn't find lasting love with Sonia following their journey on the fourth season of Married at First Sight, but the 33-year-old reality TV star believes he has found his happily-ever-after with Heather, who hosts AfterBuzz TV's Married At First Sight AfterBuzz TV AfterShow.

"We are shocked, excited and feeling blessed all at the same time," Nick told People of the pregnancy. "I am most nervous about taking care of two at one time! Also, being a supportive partner to Heather all at the same time, it's overwhelming."

The mom-to-be and Nick -- who separated from Sonia in January and finalized their divorce in April -- have yet to learn the sex of their babies on the way.

Nick revealed he met Heather when she was covering Married at First Sight for her show. Nick said he sought guidance from Heather, 32, who is also a love and relationship coach.

"She teaches people about 'self-cess.' Attaining success and stability by your own efforts on your own terms," said Nick, a property manager. "All the advice and guidance I was getting at the time was becoming disingenuous. She seemed like a breath of fresh air."

While struggling through some of the "lowest moments" in his life, Nick explained that Heather's "message and her light seemed to spark something in me that I hadn't felt in a really long time."

After meeting, Nick reportedly communicated with Heather for three months before the expectant parents finally took the plunge in their relationship in early May.

"From the moment I left her side, I couldn't stop thinking about her," Nick told People.

Nick then decided to move from Florida to California, asking Heather to join him on this cross-country adventure.

"On the five-day journey, we fell in love," explained Nick, who made the move over Memorial Day weekend. "It was our last day. We were in Sedona. We had one of those moments that I never really thought existed. We have been together ever since."

Nick credits Married at First Sight for teaching him about "true commitment."

"I met the most genuine, empathetic woman and fell madly in love with her. I am most excited about Heather getting her energy back and finally being able to explore California," Nick gushed. "It will be even more fun doing it with our two new babies!"
