Married at First Sight expert Pastor Calvin Roberson and Season 8 stars Kristine Killingsworth and Kate Sisk have weighed in on AJ Vollmoeller's outburst over a homework assignment that aired during Tuesday night's episode.

As Married at First Sight viewers saw, AJ lashed out at production when they asked him to do some homework with his wife, Stephanie Sersen, while they were on their honeymoon.

AJ's adverse reaction to sharing positive points as well as concerns about his marriage was so strong that Stephanie started to cry out of frustration considering she viewed the assignment as a silly, insignificant task.

"Wow. AJ overreacts, and this early in the marriage, it could be a problem," Pastor Cal told host Jamie Otis on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered this week.

"Because what we tell couples all the time is, 'Please, put your best foot forward early in the marriage. These are your foundational times and your spouse forms an opinion of you.' And at this stage, if he's going off about homework, I mean, we didn't tell him to jump out of an airplane. We told him to do homework."

Pastor Cal added, "These are things designed to help your relationship. So to see him react like that or have a problem with it, it doesn't bode well."

Jamie then asked Pastor Cal why he thinks AJ had such a strong reaction to the homework assignment.

"It may be that he feels like he has to control things, and that's something he can't control. I mean, this is a big deal. There are cameras [everywhere]. There are cameras in your face all the time, but the very thing that was used to get him this wonderful woman in his life -- I don't want him to criticize it. You know?" Pastor Cal explained.

"Because this is the reason he's here! We picked this woman that he's crazy about; don't criticize the process, because the process got you what you wanted."

Kristine and Kate then offered their opinions on how frustrating the filming process was or was not for them. The women married Keith Dewar and Luke Cuccurullo, respectively, for Season 8 of Married at First Sight.

"Did you feel similar to AJ?" Jamie asked.

"It can be a lot. It can be overwhelming," Kristine admitted.

"But freak out like AJ? Probably not, because you knew what you signed up for. You know what I mean? This is what you wanted and so you kind of have to deal with this for a few months."

And then Kate revealed, "I don't really -- like, I tried to stop thinking that the cameras were there, and it kind of worked for me."

But Kate apparently felt for AJ in that moment and could understand where he was coming from.

"I see that AJ is taking it differently and he's really stressed out, but I can also see from that clip how much he cares about this working and how much he has actually already begun to care about Stephanie," Kate reasoned.

"Maybe he was just blaming production because he was worried about having to have a really difficult conversation with his new wife."

AJ did seem to worry that expressing a "concern" he had about Stephanie might ruin the wonderful, relaxing time they were having in Costa Rica.

Pastor Cal, however, insisted such conversations are all part of the game.

"The thing is also that because of all the stress, if you can withstand all this, just think what this is doing for you when it comes to the marriage after all the cameras go away," Pastor Cal explained.

"Because marriage has more stress in it than you're going to experience in these seven weeks. So if you can just be calm in the storm and deal with this, then you have accelerated your marriage and you're ready for some serious issues!"

In addition to Kate and Luke, Kristine and Keith, and AJ and Stephanie, Married at First Sight's currently-airing season also stars Jasmine McGriff and Will Guess.
